Taster Sessions

If you have been thinking of ‘having a go’ on computers, but were not sure where to start, UK Online now offers you the opportunity to try some low cost taster sessions.

These online taster are custom built to allow you to dip in to your learning and acquire some basic IT skills before you commit to a course. They contain:

    • Starting with My Guide
    • Starting with Computers - Mouse Tutor - Keyboard Tutor (for all those unusual keys)
    • Using the Internet safely
    • Using Public Services online
    • Using email
    • Using the Internet
    • Skills Checkpoints

These sessions cost £3.00 per visit

Half Day Sessions:

Usually held monthly at the centre and covering various specialist subject, e.g.

    • Skype (Free Internet Video Phone calls)
    • Digital Cameras
    • OnLine Shopping
    • Ebay
    • Mail Merge
    • Greeting cards etc. etc.
These sessions are priced according to length, skill levels etc.
